It sucks that people cheat but it's still a great way to try to improve on your own speed.

You should really put a play button on the website for kids to figure out how to play the game.

hey this is pretty tite yo and you have to type really fast on some of them but, some of them you can type normal or something but, most of them are or you need to type rally fast because at jacksonville highschool in alabama they make have computer class and they make type and stuff but, i dont go their i go to jacksonville christian acdemey so just have a nice day then!!!! Typeracer DOES help you type. Yes there are TONS of cheaters out there. Kudos for them for getting their recognition for being obvious cheaters! But YES there are TONS of legitimate users who are increasing their typing skills over time. Typracer does not show you how to type, but it most definitely helps you type faster. I don't really care if a cheater gets a faster score than me... chances are that karma will effect his future marketability if applying for a job that cares about typing speed. Besides, if a cheater continually gets over 200WPM on typeracer, it's very easy to go to any of the other typing sites to see if they have a footprint there; all legitimate fast typers absolutely do are not exclusive to typeracer.

It can be easily cheated by typeracer cheat. With that all can type more than 80 words per minute (WPM)

Typewriter is important for people. People learn how to type fast and more things. I learned typewriter at school but I had a computer at home so I also tried typewriter at home. I loved typewriter but my mom dont let me play to much and also I need to study.I am 7 years old I study at WELLS INTENATIONAL SCHOOL [ONUT CAMPUS].There are many test in this school so I only open typeracer when I am free.Today I have aholiday because I opened typeracer.I am not a so good typacer because I come to typeracer many times.Now I am doing typeracer in a secret because my mom is asleep she cannot hear me typing.I live in Thailand with my parents.My family lives in India and my cousin sister lives in Thailand but in a different house.I am an indian.I live in Sukhumvit and my cousin sister lives in Bangna.

@Bob First of all, it can be used to learn typing faster. Second, no, their content is real.

Should this really be in an educational website? It just pits you in a race against other people, it doesn't really teach you anything. On top of that, all of the content they have is fictional, so what will people really learn?
