ixl.com - New Non-free Math Website for Grades K-5

I Excelixl.com is a new subscription-based website that lets kids practice math. A multitude of quizzes are available, with reports and graphs that display the student's progress. Teachers can test the full site using a free trial account for 30 days. Guest users can test the site by answering 20 questions per day for free.

Ixl.com has lessons for Pre-K, kindergarten and grades 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The lists of skills that can be practiced on each level is vast. Some examples include: patterns, money, geometry, fractions, algebra, coordinate graphs, charts, logical reasoning and decimals.

Ixl.com has an adaptive learning system, where the difficulty of the questions increases as the children's skills improve.

Subscriptions for this online math practice system cost $9.95/month for one child, or $199/year for a classroom.

Ixl is pronounced "I excel"! This maths site has a great design, and has no advertisements.

A similar website that is geared more towards adult learners is Math Foundation. Math Foundations explains algebra and geometry in a very visual manner.
