In Robomind you can learn basic programming concepts by programming a robot which moves around on a map.RoboMind is completely free for both individual as well as educational and commercial use.

There are several different maps to choose from, e.g. a maze, and a handful of scripts to experiment with. You can also write your own script, either by typing it by hand, or by using the remote control which automatically scripts the movements you make your robot perform.

Available programming structures include loops, if-structures and procedures.

RoboMind runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OSX.

The following languages are supported:
Arabic , Chinese (simplified) , Dutch , English , French , German , Greek , Polish , Portuguese , Russian , Spanish , Swedish , Turkish , Ukranian .

Hello Arvid 1. I teach ROBOMIND programming 5'th grades as part of a robotics course (Thank you) 2. (How) Can I translate commands in Hebrew ? Tried to write comments in Hebrew (right to left) but it is time consuming. 3. Can I use more than one robot ?

RoboMind version 2.6 is currently available in 12 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. Students can therefore get acquainted with computer science and robotics in their native language. Furthermore it is open source and completely free of charge.
