Phun - 2D Physics Simulations Sandbox

In Phun, you can create objects of different shapes and density, connect them with chain or springs, fixate them and then press the "play"-button and watch them interact.

You can use several kinds of objects to build your experiments: fixed planes, circles, squares, irregular shapes, hinges, planes, chains and springs. To each object, you assign a color, density, friction and bounciness. Water can be added as well. As you build your world, the objects are immobile, but then you press the "Play" button, and they all start bouncing around, according to the laws of physics.

The best way to get an impression of how this very interesting program works is to watch the Youtube video:

Phun is available for Windows and Linux. This is a beta version, and it is not complely stable, unfortunately. But it certainly is fun!

Phun was created by Swedish programmer Emil Ernerfeldt. The solver is based on work by Claude Lacoursière.

The following languages are supported:
English (-), Swedish (Svenska).
