With the free Lego Digital Designer 1.6, you can design your own virtual Lego model in 3D. Optionally, you can order the exact set of bricks over the Internet and build it in real life as well!

Ordering the bricks can be quite expensive, but playing around with the virtual building software is, of course, free.

A true must-have for real Lego fans! Requires Windows XP or better, 800 MHz or faster processor, and 100 MB of hard disk space. Also available for Mac OS X.
